ATA may assist its clients with the application procedures to obtain a working visa for those non-resident individuals who will be employed in Hong Kong, as per the requirements of the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
In the case of a newly incorporated company, the Immigration Department will request additional information about its business activities – these include a business plan and solid proof of funds. The business plan will be verified in the following years when applications of visa renewal are submitted.
Generally, Hong Kong working visa is granted for one/two year(s) for the first application (depends on the case) and then renewed every two years. This can reach to a maximum of seven consecutive years, at which point the individual is eligible for a permanent resident status. The timeframe to obtain a working visa in Hong Kong varies depending on the case complexity.
SINGAPORE
ATA may assist its clients throughout all the application procedures to obtain a working visa in Singapore, as per the requirements of the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
For newly incorporated company, the MOM will request additional information about the business activities of the company – these may include a business plan, employment forecast and solid proof of funds. The business plan will be verified in the following years when applications of visa renewal are submitted.
Generally, Singapore working visa is granted for one/two year(s) in the first application (depends on the case) and then renewed every two or three years. The timeframe to obtain a working visa in Singapore may vary from three to twelve weeks, depending on the case complexity, company’s workforce and actual business operations.
